Prescription lenses for every Ray-Ban Meta, Gen 3 included

Yes — Tajima Direct makes custom prescription lenses for every Ray-Ban Meta: the new Gen 3 Wayfarer, Aviator and Zena (and their Optics versions), Ray-Ban Meta Audio Clubmaster and Burbank, and all Gen 2 and Gen 1 frames. Single Vision or Progressive, in polarized, clear or Transitions®. The lenses are passive, so your camera, speakers and Meta AI keep working (Ray-Ban Meta Audio has no camera). Ready an estimated 7–12 business days after your frames arrive.

Meta's own prescription service has published limits (Meta Glasses stop at +2.25 total power; the Gen 3 Aviator at −6.00/+4.00; orders placed on Meta.com at −6.00/+6.00), and it does not offer prism. Tajima Direct regularly fills prescriptions beyond those limits, including prism, high-index and progressives. If your prescription is very strong or unusual, email help@tajima-direct.com with your Rx before ordering and we'll confirm.

Updated September 2026 for the Meta Connect 2026 lineup.

Tajima Direct is an independent lens maker and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, Ray-Ban or EssilorLuxottica. Brand names are used only to describe the frames our lenses fit.

FAQs

Yes. We custom make and install prescription lenses in every Ray-Ban Meta: the new Gen 3 Wayfarer (RW4011), Aviator (RW4016) and Zena (RW4015) and their Optics versions (RW4011V, RW4016V, RW4015V); Ray-Ban Meta Audio Clubmaster (RW7004) and Burbank (RW7005); Gen 2 Wayfarer, Headliner, Skyler, Blayzer Optics and Scriber Optics; and Gen 1 Wayfarer, Headliner and Skyler. Choose Single Vision or Progressive in a polarized sunglass, clear, or light-adaptive Transitions® lens.

New prescription polarized lenses for Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses will be $395 for Single Vision and $495 for Progressives. Those are flat fee prices that include all the bells and whistles for best lens material, all premium coatings included, and top shelf digital lens designs. It also includes all shipping to get us your frames, make / install the new lenses, then ship back to you.

Yes. Meta's own prescription service limits the Gen 3 Aviator (RW4016 / RW4016V) to −6.00/+4.00, the narrowest range in the Ray-Ban Meta line, and does not offer prism. Tajima Direct regularly fills prescriptions beyond those limits, including prism, high-index and progressives. If your prescription is very strong or unusual, email help@tajima-direct.com with your Rx before ordering and we'll confirm.

Yes. We make Single Vision and Progressive prescription lenses for the Ray-Ban Meta Audio Clubmaster (RW7004) and Burbank (RW7005) in clear (with a blue-light option), Transitions® or polarized. Ray-Ban Meta Audio has no camera — its open-ear speakers, microphones and Meta AI live in the frame — so with clear or Transitions prescription lenses it makes an ideal everyday pair of glasses.

The Optics versions are the same Gen 3 Wayfarer, Aviator and Zena frames, sold with clear demo lenses so a prescription can be added. We make and install prescription lenses in either version — Optics or sun — the same way, and the Gen 2 Blayzer Optics (RW7001) and Scriber Optics (RW7002) too.

Yes, you can get new non-prescription polarized sunglass lenses for any Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses. Start the process of ordering non prescription polarized replacement lenses here.

For Ray-Ban Meta glasses, Meta points buyers to "certified retailers" for prescription lenses and says that if lenses were added elsewhere you should "review the warranty terms". Meta's paid Warranty Plus plan excludes installation of non-authorized lenses. We have not seen a Meta or Ray-Ban page that says third-party lenses void the standard 12-month warranty. Tajima Direct is independent and not affiliated with Meta, Ray-Ban or EssilorLuxottica, so we recommend reviewing the current warranty terms for your glasses.

Two models: the Meta Ray-Ban Display, whose prescription is embedded in the display lens when it is made and can't be changed, and the Oakley Meta Vanguard, which uses a single shield lens. Every other Ray-Ban Meta and Ray-Ban Meta Audio style is a standard two-lens frame we can fit, and we also make prescription lenses for Meta Glasses and the Oakley Meta HSTN.

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your new lenses, we’ll give you a full refund with free return shipping.

You have 30 days from when you receive your new lenses to claim your return.

1 year warranty against manufacturer’s defects.

For example, scratched your lenses, not a warranty. Having coating issues, counts for warranty.
