FAQs

Yes. Tajima Direct makes polarized replacement lenses for every Ray-Ban Meta: the new Gen 3 Wayfarer (RW4011), Aviator (RW4016) and Zena (RW4015) and their Optics versions (RW4011V, RW4016V, RW4015V); Ray-Ban Meta Audio Clubmaster (RW7004) and Burbank (RW7005); Gen 2 Wayfarer, Headliner (incl. Low Bridge Fit), Skyler, Blayzer Optics and Scriber Optics; and Gen 1 Wayfarer, Headliner, Skyler and the Scuderia Ferrari Miami Edition — including prescription. Choose your style above, or send your frames to us for a custom lens replacement if you're not sure which model you have.

Yes. We make polarized replacement lenses ($119, any color) and prescription lenses for the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 Wayfarer (RW4011 / RW4011V), Aviator (RW4016 / RW4016V) and Zena (RW4015 / RW4015V), and for Ray-Ban Meta Audio Clubmaster (RW7004) and Burbank (RW7005). These frames are send-in only: after you order, we email a prepaid shipping label or send you a box, install your new lenses in our lab and ship your glasses back. On every model the lenses are passive, so all smart features keep working.

Ray-Ban Meta Audio (Clubmaster RW7004 and Burbank RW7005) has no camera: its open-ear speakers, microphones and Meta AI live in the frame. The lenses are passive, so our polarized, clear or Transitions® lenses don't affect any of its features. Order from the Clubmaster (RW7004) and Burbank (RW7005) pages and send your frames in.

The Optics versions are the same Gen 3 Wayfarer, Aviator and Zena frames, sold with clear demo lenses so a prescription can be added. We replace the lenses in either version the same way — polarized ($119) or prescription — so just choose the Wayfarer, Aviator or Zena page above.

Our Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses polarized replacement lenses will be $119 for any lens color and any frame style while Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses prescription replacement lenses are $395 for Single Vision and $495 for Progressives. That includes all shipping to send your frames to us, then return them to you once we install the lenses.

The model name will be located on the inside of the right temple. If this number is no longer legible or you are unable to locate it, you can go through our custom lens replacement, where you'll send in the frames and we will identify your frame upon receiving.

Yes, you can get new prescription lenses custom made and installed into any pair of Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses sunglasses. Our Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses prescription polarized lenses are $395 for Single Vision or $495 for Progressive while non prescription polarized replacement lenses are $119.

Prescription transitions lenses are $375-$640 and prescription clear lenses are $249-$379.

New prescription polarized lenses for Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses will be $395 for Single Vision and $495 for Progressives. Non-prescription polarized lenses for Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses are $119. Those are flat fee prices that include all the bells and whistles for best lens material, all premium coatings included, and top shelf digital lens designs. It also includes all shipping to get us your frames, make / install the new lenses, then ship back to you.

Prescription transitions lenses are $375-$640 and prescription clear lenses are $249-$379.

Our Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses replacement lenses will be superior to your original lenses. They are made of our patented Tajima Urethane lens material, which features the optical clarity, sharpness, and detail of glass, but won't shatter or crack, and much lighter weight. 5x more scratch resistant than plastic lenses. You can read more about it and see optical lab testing results compared to common lens materials such as glass, plastic, and others on our lens technology page.

For Ray-Ban Meta glasses, Meta points buyers to "certified retailers" for prescription lenses and says that if lenses were added elsewhere you should "review the warranty terms". Meta's paid Warranty Plus plan excludes installation of non-authorized lenses. We have not seen a Meta or Ray-Ban page that says third-party lenses void the standard 12-month warranty. Tajima Direct is independent and not affiliated with Meta, Ray-Ban or EssilorLuxottica, so we recommend reviewing the current warranty terms for your glasses.

Two models: the Meta Ray-Ban Display, whose prescription is embedded in the display lens when it is made and can't be changed, and the Oakley Meta Vanguard, which uses a single shield lens. Every other Ray-Ban Meta and Ray-Ban Meta Audio style is a standard two-lens frame we can fit, and we also make lenses for Meta Glasses and the Oakley Meta HSTN.

1. Choose your Ray-Ban Meta style above, search for your frame, or go for a custom lens replacement.

2. Select your lens color, add to cart and place your order.

3. We'll email you a prepaid shipping label or ship you a box to send us your glasses.

4. Our experts make and install your new lenses, then ship your glasses back to you with your original lenses.

*All Ray-Ban Meta lens replacements are sent in for our experts to install.*

Yes, we always return the original lenses with the completed order if you sent in your frame for the lens replacement.

Non-prescription lenses take an estimated 2-5 business days to install once we receive your frames. For prescription lenses, the clock starts when your frames reach our lab: an estimated 7-12 business days to make and install your new lenses before they ship back to you. Shipping to and from our lab isn't included in these estimates.

All lenses are custom cut in our state-of-the-art lab in Southern California.

If you ordered prescription lenses, they will be made to your prescription, coated, then custom cut and installed at this same lab.
