Our patented urethane lens material is not polycarbonate, nylon, CR-39, or glass.
It is a patented and proprietary urethane polarized lens composition made in our lens making factory in Tajima, Japan.
It is the first non-comprising polarized lens material featuring the superior optical clarity of glass, and hi-mass impact resistance and light weight of polycarbonate.

Do the smart features still work after replacing the lenses?

Yes — all smart features (audio, voice control, connectivity) are built into the frame and remain fully functional. We only replace the sunglass lenses.

Can I choose a different lens color or mirror tint for my Oakley Meta Smart Sunglasses?

How long will my order take?

Once we receive your order, we'll email you a shipping label you can print to send us your glasses using your own box or we can ship you an empty box with a return prepaid shipping label inside (you'll select what you prefer as part of the order process). This will go out within 24 hours of placing your order, most of the time within a few hours.
Once we receive your frames at our lab, it will take us 2-4 business days to turn around your lenses and have them shipping back to you via USPS First Class Shipping.

Can I get prescription lenses?

Yes, you can get prescription lenses. You’ll click here to order prescription lenses.

Are my original lenses sent back?

Yes, we always return the original lenses with the completed order.

How much does it cost for new polarized sunglass lenses?

It costs $99 to get new polarized lenses sent to you or to send your frame in for our team to install the new lenses.
Prescription lenses range from $249-$349 for clear, $350-$450 for polarized sun, and $375-$495 for light-adaptive Transitions lenses. Click here for prescription lenses ordering.

Do the lenses come with a logo?

No, at this time, we do not put our Tajima logo or any other companies logo on the lenses.

Where is Tajima Direct located?

We make our polarized lenses in our lens making facility in Tajima, Japan.
The lenses are custom cut and orders are processed in our state-of-the-art lab in Southern California.
When you send in your glasses for new lenses, they will go to our lab in Southern California.

Do you accept International Orders?

Yes, we do. We can ship most anywhere in the world. We DO NOT offer free shipping outside of America.
If you need to send in your frames, you’ll be responsible for shipping us your frames yourself.

What is the return policy?

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your new lenses, we’ll give you a full refund with free return shipping.
You have 30 days from when you receive your new lenses to claim your return.

What is the warranty?

1 year warranty against manufacturer’s defects.
For example, scratched your lenses, not a warranty. Having coating issues, counts for warranty.
